 Paris, Je t'aime!

Date: 30 August, 2026

The flights were terrific, immigration was a breeze, and here I am! Summer Paris is a completely different girl to winter Paris. Both are wonderful. Everyone is outside, sitting chilling in the parks, in the squares, in the cafés. They normally lock some of the parks at night, but in this heat they are keeping them open until nearly midnight.

All the grand, classical statuary dotted around the city, and then in the Left Bank .... there's this guy!

Just a mec, taking his chaton for a
promenade on a warm Sunday Paris evening!
He stopped and talked to me. He was very nice! Obviously he gets a LOT of people gawking.
The kitty was unimaginably calm ❤

La Seine, looking gorgeous in the late summer afternoon sunshine.

La Seine, looking up towards Ile de la Cîté.

Eeeeeeeeeeeveryone is outside. All the parks are full, all the squares are full, all the outdoor seating in the cafés are full. Everyone is loving the weather, now that the heatwave has broken. They are keeping the little public parks open until midnight while it's hot.

Grooving, on a sunny Sunday afternoon - sing it with me!
🎶Jardin du Palais-Royale

Salade Niçoise and a basket of baguette. A perfect summer dinner.

Start as you intend to go on!
